Wave Cyber Showcases Membrane New Materials at National Economic & Trade Event to Boost Green Development in Western China
July 15, 2026 – The 27th
China (Qinghai) Green Development Investment and Trade Fair (Qinghai Fair)
grandly opened at Qinghai International Convention & Exhibition Center.
As the largest and
highest-standard comprehensive economic and trade event in Qinghai Province,
the Qinghai Fair serves as a national-level pivotal platform for gathering
cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, deepening industrial
cooperation between eastern and western regions, and advancing green and
low-carbon development. Representing outstanding enterprises from Shanghai, Wave Cyber (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. brought its self-developed membrane materials and complete sets of equipment to
the exhibition, fully demonstrating the technological strength of China’s full
industrial chain for separation membranes.
High-pressure
Nanofiltration for Salt Lake Lithium Extraction
Qinghai boasts abundant
lithium resources in salt lakes. Nevertheless, the industry’s green growth has
long been restrained by high magnesium-lithium ratios and excessive water
consumption in production.
To address this core
industry pain point, Wave Cyber has independently developed high-performance
nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes. These products deliver deep
separation treatment on high-magnesium concentrated wastewater generated during
lithium extraction, enabling simultaneous freshwater recovery and enrichment of
low-concentration lithium resources. The technology can cut water consumption
by nearly one-third per ton of lithium carbonate produced, drastically
conserving water resources and raising the comprehensive utilization rate of
lithium resources. Relevant technologies have achieved stable commercial operation
at the Qinghai Lanke Lithium project.
Comprehensive
Water Environment Treatment for Plateau Regions
Qinghai is the core water
source area of the Three-River Source Region, bearing critical responsibilities
for ecological protection. At this fair, Wave Cyber exhibited a full range of
water treatment membrane products tailored to plateau operating conditions,
including anti-fouling reverse osmosis membranes, brackish water desalination
membranes, industrial reclaimed water reuse membranes, and supporting composite
material pressure vessels.
The complete product
portfolio covers multiple scenarios such as municipal water supply, brackish
water purification for mining areas, zero liquid discharge of industrial
wastewater, and river & lake water ecological restoration. Optimized for
western remote areas characterized by volatile water quality and limited
operation & maintenance conditions, the products simplify post-operation
procedures significantly. Leveraging membrane separation technology to recycle
water resources, Wave Cyber safeguards the plateau’s ecological security with
innovative new material technologies.
Wave Cyber (Shanghai) Co.,
Ltd. is one of the few domestic enterprises with full-chain independent R&D
and mass production capabilities covering membrane materials, membrane elements
and composite pressure vessels. Its core subsidiary has been recognized as a
national-level "Specialized, Refined, Unique & Innovative Little
Giant" enterprise. All products are self-developed and domestically
manufactured, breaking the long-term monopoly of overseas high-end membrane
materials. The company provides customized integrated membrane separation
system solutions for clients across new energy, industrial water treatment,
municipal water purification, material concentration and other sectors.
The company’s innovative
products and technical solutions drew crowds of government officials,
enterprise representatives and industry experts from across the country, who
held in-depth exchanges on cross-regional resource development and green
industrial collaboration enabled by membrane technology.
Zheng Gangmiao, Deputy
Director of the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, and
his entourage visited Wave Cyber’s booth to learn about the practical application
of the company’s membrane technologies in western ecological protection and new
energy industries.
Endowed with massive salt
lake mineral reserves and clean energy resources, Qinghai is a key region for
China to implement the "Dual Carbon" goals and foster new productive
forces. At the Qinghai Fair, Wave Cyber fully presented its integrated
technical service capacity centered on innovative separation membrane
materials, covering salt lake resource exploitation, plateau ecological water
treatment and industrial resource recycling.
Moving forward, Wave Cyber
will continuously consolidate its full industrial chain advantages of
"membrane materials + complete environmental equipment", promote the
wide application of water-saving membrane-based comprehensive solutions, and
work hand in hand with western regions to build a new development pattern
featuring coordinated progress between mineral resource exploitation and
ecological protection.
